The Sherbino is the perfect place for your next private party, event, meeting, training or reception. We have a variety of rental packages and rates available. From a grand piano to a stage and greenroom area to a dance floor to a brand new projector to a bar, tables, chairs and booths – we have what you need to make your event a success. SHERBINO RENTAL RATES

The Ridgway Chautauqua Society owns and operates the Sherbino and the 610 Arts Collective. We actively produce programs in these spaces that serve our Mission. Because we are in the business of curating programs (over 120 public events a year), we no longer rent to individuals or organizations who are running a public event. Public events are events that are publicized and/or open to the public, as opposed to members or invitees. We do, however — oftentimes partner with another organization to co-present programming that aligns with our Mission. Please note: if you are representing a non-profit organization and would like to collaborate with the Sherbino to present a balanced, partnered program, please contact our Director. 

The Sherbino is available for private full and half day rentals, as well as non-profit meeting spaces. 

BASIC RENTAL PACKAGE – $375

Looking for a simple and affordable way to host your event? Our Basic Package gives you access to the Sherbino building for a short-term, no-frills private rental—perfect for meetings, small gatherings, or DIY-style celebrations.

What’s included:

  • Access to the venue for up to 5 total hours, including setup, event time, and cleanup

  • A staff member to unlock the building and provide a brief orientation of lights and tables, chairs, etc.

  • Use of existing tables and chairs (you are responsible for setup and takedown)

What’s not included:

  • No staff on site during your event

  • No bartending services

  • No tech services

  • No table or chair setup/takedown by Sherbino staff

  • No cleaning or trash removal (you must leave the space exactly as you found it)

Important Notes:

  • All events must be completely finished, cleaned up, and locked up by 10:00 PM.

  • Trash and any event-related materials must be removed by the renter.

  • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. The Sherbino is a licensed venue, and all alcohol service must be coordinated through our bar staff.

About our Venue

The Sherbino Theater is a 3,200 square foot building that includes open, flexible space, a bar, a stage and a backstage area. The “open floor” is approximately 1,700 square feet. Without chairs and tables, the room can host about 150 standing. With Chairs in tight rows, it can seat 120. We have 110 black folding chairs on-site as well as ten black 6’ folding tables, 10 round cocktail tables and four to eight small outdoor cafe tables with chairs (which are for outdoor/sidewalk use). The bar offers beer, wine, canned cocktails, limited mixed drinks and an assortment of candy, chips and sodas.

*The 610 Arts Collective Gallery and Courtyard are not available for rentals.
