SUPPORT THE SHERBINO
The Ridgway Chautauqua Society is focused on fulfilling the vision of creating a sustainable gathering place with learning, creativity and culture at its core. We produce over 150 varied programs each year, engaging hundreds of local, as well as out-of-town talent, to inspire, educate, and entertain. The building is also available for individuals and community organizations to rent for programming, parties, and special events.
Receipts from ticket sales only partially cover what it takes to operate, animate, and maintain this unique Ridgway venue. Your contribution will elevate and support our ongoing programming and help us meet day-to-day expenses of operating our 100+ year old building. Thank you.
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GIVE TO THE SHERBINO
I think the Sherb is a critical nexus for the community. It is a hub, a gathering place in an ever expansive environment. In a sense it is the analog Discovery Channel for the neighborhood and beyond. We learn, we discover, we explore, we're entertained. We connect with locals, new and old friends, and are delighted with those who grace the stage as they open their treasure chests of talent and knowledge, sharing what they've grown to be so that we all might find that better way for our own growth.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Your support means a lot to us. And your support continues to keep the arts flourishing in our community. Jonathan Fanton, President of the MacArthur Foundation, really says it best:
"There is no better indicator of the spiritual health of our city, its neighborhoods, and the larger region than the state of the arts. The arts deepen our understanding of the human spirit, extend our capacity to comprehend the lives of others, allow us to imagine a more just and humane world. Through their diversity of feeling, their variety of form, their multiplicity of inspiration, the arts make our culture richer and more reflective."
So once again, thank YOU!
