About Jack:
I live in Ridgway, Colorado, at the foot of the mighty San Juan Mountains. Though my passion for the mountains long preceded my passion for photography, I have found that photography often provides the motivation to explore places I might not usually hike to, in weather I might not usually prefer to hike in, at times of day that I might usually rather be sleeping. The result is that my photography takes me to spectacular scenes I might not witness otherwise, and I hope to share these scenes with others through my photos and prints.
I do most of my photography in wilderness areas, usually while backpacking and often while exploring remote places where no trails exist. For me the joy of photography is intertwined with the joy of immersing myself in nature, and the challenges of photography are inseparable from the challenges of traveling through the mountains on my own two feet. In large part, my photos are simply an expression of this love of being out in the mountains.
I first started playing with cameras while I was in college at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where I graduated with a BA in Fine Arts Printmaking (mostly intaglio, but also lithography, woodcuts, and screenprinting). Since I’ve moved on to photography, my photos have been collected by print customers in all of the lower 48 United States and a dozen countries, and have been published worldwide in numerous magazines, calendars, and other publications for organizations including National Geographic Traveler, Alpinist, Backpacker Magazine, Climbing Magazine, Outdoor Magazine, Lonely Planet Magazine, Sojourns, 5280 Magazine, Cowboys & Indians, The Trust for Public Land, Wilderness Workshop, The Wilderness Society, Weingarten, Apple Computers, and many more.

About Natalie:
Natalie Heller has become one of the noted photographers of ranching and landscape scenes in the region. Heller’s photos provide an intimate look at the daily rhythms of ranch life from branding to haying, as well as capturing the vast vistas and winding backcountry roads that define the landscape.
The wide-angle landscapes Heller shoots from dirt roads showcase the subtle beauty in everyday scenes, from rows of barbed-wire fence posts receding into the distance to weathered ranch buildings nestled against grassy hillsides. She captures the changing light at different times of day, revealing how light and shadow transform familiar scenes into something visually arresting.
Heller’s ranching photography focuses on framing each shot to draw the viewer deep into the scene. Her photos of brandings invite the viewer to experience the details in the chaps and spurs, the creases and textures of well-worn leather or a weathered face. Through her lens, viewers gain an appreciation for the intense focus of a cowboy during a roundup, the stillness of a ranch at dusk, and the vast scale of the western landscape that ranchers call home. About Tom:
Tom is an award-winning photographer, receiving local and regional awards. He has been invited to exhibit in several, juried state and national fine art photography shows. Tom’s passion is undeniable. His primary interest is landscape photography and night photography but does not limit his subject material to those subjects alone. He finds beauty everywhere and shoots photographs wherever he travels. His goal is to share the beauty of this earth in hopes that people will value the earth and become stewards of the earth. He currently works as a professional photographer selling his art at fine art fairs primarily in Colorado. He is busy most weekends in the summer. He also sells from his website at TomHeywoodPhotography.com
