A liminal space is the physical expanse between one destination and the next, sometimes eerie and sometimes dangerous. Join us as we step through this in-between season, right after Halloween and Day of the Dead for Liminal Space Odyssey, a musical-visual-storytelling event. Craig Childs’ spoken word will be braided with the traveling blues of Russ Chapman, and a different esteemed poet will drop in each night to spice things up. We’re taking this to four venues, tickets $20, doors at 7pm. No streaming or recording, this in a live-only event.

Craig Childs is an effusive adventurer who brings tales of deserts and ice caps to the stage. He is both a spoken word performer and a writer, having published more than a dozen books of science, nature, and personal experience. His nonfiction narratives and journalism have appeared in The Atlantic, Outside, The Sun, the LA Times, New York Times, NPR, and Radiolab. He lives in Norwood, Colorado. www.houseofrain.com
Hailing from Montana with a high country stomp and a satchel full of wit, Russ Chapman is a performing songwriter with a passion for writing upbeat songs delivered with creative aplomb.
