The Ridgway Creative District and the Ridgway Chautauqua Society at the Sherbino present the 2021 Ridgway Independent Film Fest, showcasing the work and creativity of regional and global independent filmmakers. This year’s two-evening event featuring short films will be back in-person at the Sherbino again with a suggested donation of $10 at the door! (Additional donations are accepted, of course, and will be greatly appreciated!) Festival attendees are encouraged to wear their masks for everyone’s good health.

The film festival will highlight creative, engaging & thought-provoking short films in many genres, PLUS bonus features. The five professional creative industry judges — Craig Childs, Taylor Rees, Renan Ozturk, Peter O’Fallon, and Michael Stipe – will be selecting the five award winners this year, plus audiences will choose a People’s Choice award each evening. This year’s fest was supported by more than 25 community business donors making it possible to give $400 cash awards to the seven filmmaker winners.
