Sherb Talks are back! Come hear local, Dr. Gayle Frazzetta, perform her dynamic talk: Menopause, Myths & Medicine.

TALK:

Menopausal women are suffering needlessly due to hormone imbalance and they have been misled. About 80% of menopausal women experience significant symptoms, yet less than 4% are on treatment. After menopause, women have increased risks of cardiovascular disease, osteoporotic fractures, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, diabetes, breast cancer, colon cancer and increased mortality due to the misguided fear of hormones.

This lecture will demonstrate the cause of this confusion and review evidence and research debunking the myth that hormones are harmful. Women have suffered long enough due to this unfounded fear.
