Raise your glass at San Juan Barrel Fest — Ridgway’s signature tasting event and a lively fundraiser for the historic Sherbino Theater and Weehawken Creative Arts Centers! Held each fall in the heart of the San Juan Mountains at Ridgway’s Hartwell Park, this one-of-a-kind festival spotlights the best of Western Colorado’s craft brewers, barrel-aged specialists, and regional vintners. Each participating crafter pours samples of their finest creations — from classic brews and ciders to experimental, small-batch offerings crafted just for this event.
Guests (21+ with valid ID and ticket purchase) can savor these unique tastes while enjoying live music, cheering on the colorful spectacle of the Ridgway 1K Rally Thru the Alley, and soaking up Ridgway’s unbeatable small-town charm. While tastings are reserved for adults, the festival atmosphere is open and welcoming to all ages.
The San Juan Barrel Fest follows directly after the quirky, beloved Ridgway 1K, creating an unforgettable afternoon of community, costumes, creativity, and craft beverages. For the full experience, gather your friends or colleagues, don your best costumes, cruise down the 1K course, and then belly up to the Barrel Fest for an afternoon of laughter, flavor, and fun!
