Ignite

January 23 @ 6:30 pm
Doors: 6 || Presentations: 6:30 || $Entry by Donation || Learn More about Ignite Here
Our next series of Ignite Talks is coming to the Sherbino this January (23rd) and it’s once again time to inspire and “ignite” us by creating a 5-minute talk on any topic of your choice! IGNITE is a national public speaking series that has helped to create a platform for sharing ideas, passions and knowledge about the world around us, from our very own neighbors and friends. While many of you have done an IGNITE in the past, for those who haven’t here are the rules:
– 20 slides x 15 seconds a slide (Actually 21, but 1st slide = Presenter/Title)
– Choose visuals that help add to your talk!
– It works best if you tell us a story or answer a question!
– Time yourself giving the talk, for practice. (The slides will auto-run on a timer, or we will run them for you)
The Presentations:
Completing the Wildfire Ready Home Program – Bob Erickson
Wildflowers of Colorado’s Western Slope – Jim Pisarowicz
Inaugural Ridgway Otter Dip – 2025 or 2026 – Tanya Ishikawa
Glitter Byte – Generative AI in Healthcare – Ames Risch
A Cautionary Trail – Vicki Warner-Huggins
The Sentinel Landslide – the largest overlooked feature in Zion National Park – Dave Sharrow
My Favorite National Park – Sue Husch
The Fun of Winemaking – Bob Tesch
