The Courtyard at 610 is a unique little venue behind our gallery space, the 610 Arts Collective, on Clinton St. The entrance is through the alleyway between N Cora St. and N Laura St behind the gallery and The Sherbino Theater.
Join us as we take full advantage of one of the last magical evenings of summer under the stars in the Courtyard at 610! On September 18, we welcome Bruce Hayes—a true Colorado original and one of the most dynamic solo performers around.
Hayes is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer/engineer, and instrument historian whose music weaves together Bluegrass, Celtic, Blues, Rock, and R&B. Dubbed “the Jimi Hendrix of the mandolin,” Bruce also dazzles on guitar, dobro, and his own invention, the Strato Bassto—all while adding in his signature mutant clogging.
An instigator of the Mountain Jam Band sound, Hayes has collaborated with Colorado legends such as The String Cheese Incident, Acoustic Junction, and Chuck Pyle. In addition to his renowned solo work, he also plays with Ragged Mountain Bluegrass and The Milo Hayes Meld.
