Have you ever watched an improv comedy show and wondered to yourself “How do they think so quickly?” Have you ever wanted to TRY improv comedy? Have you ever wanted to have LOADS of fun and laugh yourself silly on a Tuesday night? Well, now’s your chance!
Join the Play-Does, a local improv comedy troupe, for an improv comedy and physical theater workshop. You will learn the foundations of improv comedy: yes, and…, raising the stakes, creating characters, being present, and finding closure. And even if you don’t run away and join an improv comedy troupe, you will be able to apply these skills to your everyday life–be more confident in social situations, be more creative with colleagues, and think faster on your feet.
Whether you are a seasoned performer or completely new to performing, you will learn skills and have boatloads of fun in this workshop. Come play with us! RSVP by donation.
