Comedy Night at the Sherb with Monte Montepare!

Join Monte Montepare for an evening of comedy!  Monte Montepare is a comedian and mountain guide raised in Breckenridge, Colorado. For the last decade he’s been living in the middle of nowhere Alaska taking people on the adventures of a lifetime as guide and co-owner of Kennicott Wilderness Guides. He’s a 3 x Moth StorySLAM Winner, a Moth GrandSLAM Champion, a Moth MainStage Performer and performs stand-up regularly around LA and is on the Upright Citizens Brigade house improv team Rat King.  Last year he was the first comedian to be Keynote Presenter at the 2018 Ouray Ice Climbing Festival and at this year's fest he'll announced the climbing competitions.

A history of community

Established in 1915, the Sherbino has been the heart of Ridgway Colorado, providing a venue for community events ranging from music to poetry. Now in a period of re-birth, the Sherbino continues to standout as the hub of events and community activities in Ridgway and throughout Ouray County. On February 11 2012 the Sherbino incorporated as the Ridgway Chautauqua Society Inc. whose mission is to embody the Chautauqua tradition by producing programs celebrating lifelong learning, the arts, culture and community.
