Conversations: Ann Dettmer Art Exhibition

"This exhibit will be comprised of several paintings and drawings with emphasis on the conversations among them, and there will be some quotes included in the display, also a small selection of my artist’s books."

"In the studio there is an ongoing conversation among the tools, the paint, the subject or concept of the work, the process, the artist and the works as they come into being. Painting, drawing, writing, making marks… all are an act of co-creation. The presentation on the 23rd will focus on what I consider the sacred nature of this process and the elements involved."

"Conversations" will run September 10-24, with a special presentation on September 23rd as part of Spirit Fest. Gallery hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. For after hours viewing, please contact trisha@sherbino.org
